Bernard Blanc, Nuclear Business Development Director
An engineering graduate of the Lyon INSA (National Institute for the Applied Sciences) holding an MBA from the ESCP-EAP (European School of Management in Paris), Stéphane Aubarbier started his career in the Assystem group where, after some time in operational positions, he took over the development of the Automotive sector.
Subsequently, Stéphane turned his talents to marketing the service offers within the ABB group. He successively occupied the positions of Director of the maintenance contracts division for France, then for South Europe, finally taking over ABB Service’s Marketing and Business Development Management for South Europe.
In June 2002, Stéphane joined Assystem’s Executive Committee to steer the Process Business Unit in the development of the engineering activities. Since January 2005, Stéphane is Executive Vice-President of the Assystem group
A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, Bernard Blanc joined the Assystem Group in 1983. During his career, he has participated in industrial projects in the automotive, shipbuilding, infrastructure and nuclear fields. Bernard Blanc is now Director of Development and Assystem Major Projects, and a member of the executive committee of N.Triple.A. His contribution was decisive in having the consortium led by Assystem win the Engineer Architect contract for the ITER buildings, the largest nuclear fusion research project in the world.
Thomas Branche, SVP Energy Transition & Infrastructures
Christian Jeanneau, SVP Nuclear
A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines, Thomas Branche began his career at Total Exploration & Production, before working for the French state, notably in the Directorate General for Energy and Climate. Previously Deputy Director in charge of the Energy division in the office of Eric Besson, former Minister of Industry, Energy and the Digital Economy, Thomas joined the Energy & Infrastructures division of Assystem as Deputy Director General in July 2012, with responsibility for the development of the French nuclear market. In 2017, Thomas became SVP in charge of all activities related to energy transition and infrastructures development worldwide.
Trained as an engineer (INSA Lyon), Christian Jeanneau joined Assystem in 1995 as a test engineer working on French nuclear plants and in the naval sector. After an experience in South Africa in infrastructure and then with Renault, he took over as head of the Engineering branch in 2008. Since 2011, Christian has been Director of Assystem nuclear activities. He is also Director of the Assystem Nuclear Institute, a training institute established in 2008 to transmit to new generations of engineers the skills and knowledge developed by the Group in the fields of dependability, commissioning and decommissioning.
Hubert Labourdette, VP Strategic Operations
Franck Ladegaillerie, SVP Sales
Hubert Labourdette is an engineer who began his career at PSA and ABB Robotics as managing director in France and head of global engineering at ABB. Since 2009, Hubert is Managing Director of Engineering at Assystem in charge of prime contractor and project management support in the fields of energy and infrastructure. He is also Director of Engage, the company in charge of the ITER Building project, and of N.Triple.A, the joint venture between Atkins and Assystem in charge of developing engineering services on a global scale. He is also engaged in the development of proposals in the field of wind energy and energy efficiency.
A business school graduate, Franck Ladegaillerie joined Assystem in 2005. He was first in charge of the Renault account, and then he took responsibility for the development of Assystem activities in the automotive sector. He is currently SVP for Sales, with a focus on international development of engineering activities and production services for Assystem in the Energy sector.

Christian Behety, Buildings and Infrastructure Director for France
A graduate from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers, Christian Behety started his career as an engineer working for major industrial building companies such as Eiffage. He joined Assystem in 2012 as Project Director and worked among others on the Balargone for the French Ministry of Defense. Christian Behety is now Buidings and Infrastructure Director for France, a position in which he brings his expertise in complex building projects management.
